Women Empowerment Activity was successfully conducted at Trichy focusing on Tamil tailoring skill development. The programme aimed to empower women by enhancing their practical tailoring skills, promoting self-reliance, and creating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. Participants received hands-on training in basic and advanced stitching techniques, garment measurement, fabric handling, and the use of tailoring machines. The activity encouraged confidence building, entrepreneurship, and income generation among women, especially from underprivileged backgrounds. Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations, the programme highlighted how tailoring skills can support self-employment, small business creation, and economic independence.
